Vital Knowledge Software Welcomes  We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Luciano Venelli Costa of MESP in Sao Paulo to the Miramichi. Venelli, as he is known far and wide, is an engineer/educator at the Universidade and has been lead person on the adaptation of TTT for the past year. This was in addition to his duties in the distance education program and teaching. MESP, lead by Dr. Davi Barros is a very progressive university dedicated to the advancement of education. Davi Betts and Luciano Salther, are key "guiding lights" at the technologically adept institute, and contributed greatly to this co-development project from day one. Much of the thanks must also go to the teachers that have so carefully looked at our Teachers' Tech Tutor product, analyzed, modified, adapted and designed a new product that is pedagogically relevant to educators in Brazil. This task was enormous and time consuming, and we are aware (and very much appreciate) the many hours spent by this team to make TTE a tremendous training series for teachers.
It will be worth it in the long run as TTE will help the teachers of Brazil to expedite the integration of technology into everyday classrooms. Not only is Brazil a wonderful warm country but Brazil is rapidly becoming one of the world leaders in exporting home-grown technology. The recent election was conducted electronically with no problems, which is no small task when you have mandatory voting for 175 million people. The technology that supported this successful exercise can now be exported to the world.
